Red 1 Realty was founded in Columbus Ohio by Ken Fairchild and Mike Hall. These two brokers felt the compensation between brokers and agents was not paid fairly as the agent did most of the work. In 2019, Red 1 Realty was launched and it grew quickly. Adding hundreds of agents per year, the brokerage was able to add more value as it scaled. As the company continued to grow, they also added additional plans for agent choice. Red 1 Realty wanted to offer agents a low cap option and the option for Revenue Share. By offering agent’s choices, the agent can join the brokerage on the low cap option, build their downline, and then switch to Rev Share for the residual income and retirement options.
